Humans are adept at underestimating two fundamental things: the size of the space that
surrounds him and how little he actually comprehends it - everyone lives in their own reality
and defines it as the only truth.

In the project alien reality two people from different worlds meet in a space that they both
claim as their own. The strangers suddenly stand in front of each other and have to deal with
feelings such as fear, dislike, but also curiosity - this inevitably leads to tension. Because they
have to learn that their own truth is not the only valid one.

Bavarian-Czech Platform for Independent Performing Arts
The platform was founded at the end of 2022 by the Czech Association of Independent Theatres together with the Bavarian Association of Independent Performing Arts (Verband Freie Darstellende Künste Bayern, VFDKB). The aim of the platform is to create a network of institutions and contacts in both countries, to map what is happening in the field of independent art, to initiate new international collaborations and to look for sustainable solutions.
